On December 23, presentation of the results of the Samshvilde Archaeological Expedition took place at the University of Georgia.
The field works were completed on December 10th and research was carried out regarding the following directions: geophysical researches, archaeological excavations and reconnaissance of the surroundings of the Samshvilde site. The results of the expedition, architectural news and the Samshvilde mobile application have been discussed at the presentation.
The guest speakers were professors and lecturers of the University of Georgia and the representative from National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia – Mr. D. Lomitashvili.
